Refugio Bonales This mountain refuge is set in the Sierra Morena Mountains, 100 km from Seville. Access is only by donkey, horse, 4x4 or on foot. It features a fireplace, barbecue facilities and small pool.Accommodation at Refugio Bonales is in basic mountain-style rooms with stone walls and clay floors. Each room is heated and has shared bathroom facilities with a shower.There is a communal washing machine, available for a supplement. Meals can also be requested and you can buy firewood. You can hire a 4x4 or horse, in order to reach the property, and an airport shuttle service is available for an extra charge.Also for a supplement, you can take a guided tour of the area or send your children on a survival course. There is a monastery 2 hours’ walk away, and the area is perfect for star gazing and observing birds of prey.
